Pupil 1 : Ladies and gentlemen, dear guests. We are happy to welcome you at our first English
song festival!Today we are going to listen to lovely English songs. It’s a chance for
you to show your talents, get acquainted better with the culture of the English-
speaking countries. We hope you’ll enjoy the time spent with us here.
Pupil 2 : And now we begin our festival with the song “Radioactive”. What is it about?
Apocalypse, catastrophe, radiation. Although the souls are extinct, there is still hope
somewhere deep in the heart for resurrection. Give the stormy applause to the 11th
formers.
№ 1 Radioactive
I'm waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and sweat my rust
I'm breathing in the chemicals
I'm breaking in and shaping up
Then checking out on the prison bus
This is it the apocalypse

I'm waking up
I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age
To the new age
Welcome to the new age
To the new age
I'm radioactive
Radioactive
I'm radioactive
Radioactive

I raise my flag and don my clothes
It's a revolution I suppose
We're painted red to fit right in
I'm breaking in and shaping up
Then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse

All systems go
Sun hasn't died
Deep in my bones
Straight from inside

Pupil 3 : Thank you! Thank you!It was great! The next song brings hope for those who are going through the most difficult times in their lives. The Lord never lets go of you and leads you through the calm and through the storm, through your worries, troubles and strifles to the right path.
Pupil 4 : Anna Shulga with the song “You never let me go”.
№ 2 . “You never let me go”.
Don't you never let me go,
Don't you ever let it show,
I will cry in the sea of love.
The stars will allways shine,
And I'm gonna make you mine tonight,
Tonight.
I believe in rainy weather,
Some days.
But when I'm down and feeling blue,
You will come and say.
Have you ever really seen the rainbow,
Have you ever really touched the blue blue sky
Have you ever really seen a falling star,
He'll be crying tonight.
I want you, I need you
And my heart is beating softly baby
If you leave me, decieve me
I will never see the sun rise again.
Never fear what love can do, too you
Cause I believe we find a way,
This I say to you.
Pupil 1 :Thank you!Thank you! That was an amazing performance. And now the youngest singers are waiting in the wings. They are going to sing a song from our favourite fairy-tale
“ Cinderella”.
Pupil 2: The pupils of the 5th form, welcome to the stage! Support them with your cheers!
№ 3 : “Cinderella”
A dream is a wish your heart makes
When you’re fast asleep

In dreams you will lose your heartaches
Whatever you wish for you keep

Have faith in your dreams and some day
Your rainbow will come shinin’ through

No matter how your heart if grievin’
If you keep on believin’
The dream that you wish will come true

Have faith in your dreams and someday
Your rainbow will come smilin’ through

Pupil 3 : Thank you!Thank you for returning us to our childhood! It was so touching and you were so awesome. Well, now the second group of this class are looking farward to appearing on the stage with the song “Everything at once”.
Pupil 4 : Would you like to be as sly as a fox, as strong as an ox, as wise as an owl, as free as a bird and they wanna be everything at once! Just incredible! Greet them with your cheers!
№ 4 : «Everything At Once»
As sly as a fox, as strong as an ox
As fast as a hare, as brave as a bear
As free as a bird, as neat as a word
As quite as a mouse, as big as a house
All I wanna be, all I wanna be, oh
All I wanna be is everything
As mean as a wolf, as sharp as a tooth
As deep as a bite, as dark as the night
As sweet as a song, as right as a wrong
As long as a road, as ugly as a toad
As pretty as a picture hanging from a fixture
Strong like a family, strong as I wanna be
Bright as day, as light as play
As hard as nails, as grand as a whale
As warm as the sun, as silly as fun
As cool as a tree, as scary as the sea
As hot as fire, cold as ice
Sweet as sugar and everything nice
As old as time, as straight as a line
As royal as a queen, as buzzed as a bee
As stealth as a tiger, smooth as a glider
Pure as a melody, pure as I wanna be

Pupil 1:Thank you so ever much. You were terrific! The next item of our programme is the song from “Alice in Wonderland”

Pupil 4:The following song is a very serious one, about human rights, the problems of poaching and environmental problems. And now we invite the pupils of the 6th form with “Earth song”.Greet them with your applause!
№ 6 : «The Earth Song»
What about sunrise
What about rain
What about all the things
That you said we were to gain...
What about killing fields
Is there a time
What about all the things
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we've shed before
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores?

Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
Aaaaaaaaah Oooooooooh
What have we done to the world
Look what we've done
What about all the peace
That you pledge your only son...
What about flowering fields
Is there a time
What about all the dreams
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the children dead from war
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores
I used to dream
I used to glance beyond the stars
Now I don't know where we are
Although I know we've drifted far
Pupil 1: Thank you!Thank you for your wonderful performance of this item.Don’t bend, don’t break, don’t back down! This is the song for those who stand their ground, who don’t want to be just a face in the crowd, who realize that they will not live forever, that’s why they want to do everything right now, while alive.
Pupil 2 :The 10th formers, you are asked to take the stage with your life motto : ”It’s my life!”
№ 7 : «I`ts my life »
This ain't a song for the broken-hearted
No silent prayer for the faith-departed
I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd
You're gonna hear my voice
When I shout it out loud
It's my life
It's now or never
I ain't gonna live forever
I just want to live while I'm alive
(It's my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just wanna live while I'm alive
It's my life
This is for the ones who stood their ground
For Tommy and Gina who never backed down
Tomorrow's getting harder make no mistake
Luck ain't even lucky
Got to make your own breaks
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just want to live while I'm alive
'Cause it's my life
Better stand tall when they're calling you out
Don't bend, don't break, baby, don't back down

Pupil 3: Thank you!Thank you!You were incredibly awesome. All we need is somebody to lean on , someone who will be there by the side in good and bad times. The second group of the 10th form deeply believe in it.
Pupil 4 :We know you are looking farward to taking the stage! You are welcome to the stage with the song “Lean on”
№ 8 : «Lean on “
Sometimes in our lives,
we all have pain,
we all have sorrow,
but, if we are wise,
we know that there's always tomorrow
Lean on me when your not strong,
and I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on,
For it won't be long 'till I'm Gonna need
somebody to lean on.
Please swallow your pride
if I have pain, you need to borrow
for no one can fill both of your needs
that you wont let show
Just call on me brother when you need a hand
we all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem
that you'd understand
we all need somebody to lean on
If there is a load
that you can't carry
I'm right up the road
I'll share your load
if you just call me(call me)
if you need a friend(call me)
If you ever need a friend
Pupil 1 :Thank you!Thank you!Thank you!You were so fascinating!
The next song is about love. I would walk a thousand miles just to see you and I still need you, miss you.
Pupil 2 :The next singer is coming to the stage with the song “A thousand miles”Your loud cheers to support her!
№ 9 :“A thousand miles”
Vision is on the way
And it used to remind me a lot
And the best thing is the same
And it's always what it is not
It's gonna be fine and I'm missing things
But I wanna run into something new
Decision is made and I wanna sing
That I love you
Anyway I want some time
Just to keep the pace
And I drive a thousand miles
To find the only place
And it might be a different spot
But the rest is still the same
Pupiil 3 :Thank you so ever much. You’ve been so cool! If you are striving to get your aim in the life, you should try everything even though you can fail. You mess up, lose your fight, but stand up and start again. Nobody learns without making mistakes.
Pupil 4 :The pupils of the 7th form are singing the song “Try everything”.Greet them with your warm cheers!

№ 10“Try everything”.
I messed up tonight, I lost another fight
I still mess up but I'll just start again
I keep falling down, I keep on hitting the ground
I always get up now to see what's next
Birds don't just fly, they fall down and get up
Nobody learns without getting it wrong
I won't give up, no I won't give in
'Til I reach the end and then I'll start again
No I won't leave, I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail
I won't give up, no I won't give in
'Til I reach the end and then I'll start again
No, I won't leave, I wanna try everything
I wanna try even though I could fail
Look how far you've come, you filled your heart with love
Baby you've done enough, take a deep breath
Don't beat yourself up, don't need to run so fast
Sometimes we come last, but we did our best
I'll keep on making those new mistakes
I'll keep on making them every day
Those new mistakes
Pupil 1 :Well done! Thanks greatly for your wonderful performing.
Pupil 2:Boom boom,Boom boom…Can you hear that? That’s the sound of my heart beating.Boom boom…Boom boom…”Rhythm Inside”.Angelika Petrenko is taking the stage.
Your warm greeting to her.
№11 .”Rhythm inside”
Listen to the sound of thunder,
Rolling in the soul down under,
Far beneath the skin it rumbles,
Step to the step of the drum that rolls inside.
Be you enemy or lover,
We are put here to discover,
The heart that beats within each other,
We gonna rapppabab tonight.
And if we die tomorrow,
What'll we have to show?
For the wicked ways
Down below
The rhythm inside is telling us.
We can fly tomorrow
On the beautiful wind that blows
On a cosmic track, love attack,
I‘m gonna get that rhythm back.
Be you enemy or brother,
We were put here to discover
The heart that beats within each other,
We gonna rapppabab tonight.
We gonna rapppabab tonight.
Pupil 3 :Thank you!Thank you,Angelika! You have captivated the audience by your brilliant singing.Oops I did it again played with your heart and got lost in the game.Haven’t you ever been told not to play with anybody’s hearts?
Pupil 4:I have, but the next singer hasn’t,that is why she is trying to solve this affair of the heart.
Please, the 8a ,you are asked to take the stage with the song “Oops,I did it again.”

№ 12 : «Oops, I Did It Again»
I think I did it again,
I made you believe,
We're more than just friends
Oh baby,It might seem like a crush,
But it doesn't mean,
That I'm serious
Cause to lose,
All my senses,
That is just so typically me Oh baby, baby
You see,
My problem is this,
I'm dreamin' away,
Wishing that heroes,
They truly exist,
I cry watching the days,
Can't you see I'm a fool,
In so many ways
Oops, I did it again,
I played with your heart,
Got lost in the game, Oh baby, baby
Oops, you think I'm in love,
That I'm sent from above,
I'm not that innocent Oops I,
Did it again to your heart,
Got lost, In this game
Oh baby,Oops you,
Think that I'm sent from above
I'm not that innocent!
Pupil 1 :Thank you!Thank you!You were superb! And now the last item of our festival. The 11th formers with the song “Hit the road, Jack.”Don’t be so steadfast, decisive and mean as the woman is in this song even though your better half is good-for-nothing person.
