Урок позакласного читання 5 клас Текст "The Wizard of Oz"

Кирданівська загальноосвітня школа І-ІІІ ступенів Урок позакласного читання в 5 класі ( за підручником О. Карп'юк) Тема: Текст «The Wizard of Oz» Підготувала і провела вчителька англійської мови Охримчук Наталія Трохимівна Teмa. Text "The Wizard of Oz" (Урок позакласного читання) Мета уроку: 1.Удосконалювати навички читання вголос, навички усного мовлення, вживання в мовленні раніше вивчених граматичних структур. 2.Формувати вміння поєднувати вивчений матеріал із новим, працювати в групах. 3.Розвивати логічне мислення, мовну догадку,пам'ять учнів. 4. Виховувати такі риси характеру як чуйність, доброзичливість, сміливість. Обладнання: малюнки до тексту, роздатковий дидактичний матеріал для роботи в групах. Хід уроку І. Організація класу. Привітання. (Клас поділений на три групи. Вчитель звертається до кожної із груп окремо.) How do you do, children! Good morning, children! Good afternoon, children! How are you? - Ch. (Fine, good. Thank you.) T. Well. I am very glad that all of you are good and fine. Now you have to answer my questions. (Робота в групах. Кожна із груп отримує картку із запитаннями) What day and date is it today? Who is absent today and why? Who is on duty today? How many pupils are present today? T. All of you were attentive enough. Who will translate to our guests everything we have spoken about? ІІ. Введення в іншомовне середовище. T. OK, boys and girls. What lesson do we have now? (English) 1. What is it? (Foreign language) 2. Why do we learn English? 3. What do we usually do at the English lessons? (... learn poems) 4. What poems about English do you know? (Учні розказують напам'ять вірші про англійську мову) ІІІ. Основна частина. 1.Оголошення теми та мети уроку. T. OK, boys and girls! I have a poem for you too. Look at the blackboard. Read the poem. I think it will be a motto of our today's lesson. If a task is once begun Never leave it till it's done; Be the labour great or small, Do it well or not at all. (Яка основна думка цього вірша?) T. Look at this text, at these pictures and try to say what shall we do at this English lesson? PI. P2. P3. (We shall read and write. We shall translate. We shall do some exercises. We shall answer the questions. ...) T. You are right. We shall do all these kinds of work and more than that: we shall describe pictures, find the best readers in our form. The topic of our lesson is Text "The Wizard of Oz". (У нас сьогодні урок позакласного читання) 2.Po6oта над текстом.(сторінка 158). New words to know: wizard ['wiza:d] – чарівник scarecrow – опудало brain - мозок coward– боягуз courage –відвага search– пошук protection–захист adventure – пригода sad – cумний Let us read the story. (Перевірка навичок читання. Учні вибирають по два представника від кожної групи. Конкурс на кращого читця.) Let us check up the translation of this story. (Перевірка навичок перекладу із англійської мови на українську.) (Перевірка розуміння змісту прочитаного тексту) Робота в групах.( Кожна із груп має картку із завданнями.) 1. When you have read Answer the questions, find the answers in the text. (Кожна із груп має список всіх запитань, хоча відповідатиме на три із них, час підготовки обмежений) Who are the characters, name them? What were Dorothy and her dog Toto doing when a strong wind, storm came? Why were Dorothy and Toto afraid? Whom did they meet as they wandered around the strange place' Why was a scarecrow crying? Did a scarecrow want to help Dorothy? Was a lion brave? Why was a tin man sad? Did Dorothy and her new friends manage to find Wizard of Oz? 3. Розвиток навичок усного мовлення. Робота в групах. (Кожна група малювала ілюстрації до тексту) а.Зробити захист своїх малюнків. б. За малюнками і словосполученнями зробити переказ тексту. в. Обговорити в групі і довести свою думку. What helped Dorothy and Toto, a scarecrow, a lion, a tin man to find the road to the Wizard of Oz? (Courage, heart, brains) T. So, pupils, the best moral of this story are: always help people and they will thank you and love you: good heart, good brains and courage always help you to find the way out. IV. Заключна частина уроку. Домашнє завдання. Прочитати текст з позакласного читання (сторінка 159), підготуватися до обговорення змісту, намалювати ілюстрації. Підсумки уроку. Виставлення оцінок.
